The GC Hitmen have continued their dominance in the OBLL league with 2 victories over the Massapequa squad. With a 5-2 lead in the first game the Mud Dogs of Massapequa came roaring back with 2 goals in the final minute, but GC was able to hold on thanks to some great saves by Kieran Brown(aka Kdog). GC took control early with some great middie play from Cole Dutton, Luke Connolly, Tyler Wuchte, Owen Wieland, Matt DeSimpliciis, John Griffith, Chris Jordan, Kyle Steinbach. The attack was led by Liam Muldoon, Alex Sutherland, Joey McDonagh, Sean and Patrick Leggett, Liam Curtin, Aidan Byrnes, Kevin Curry. GC defense was solid all day long and the coaches would like to thank Sean Rode, Jack Tiedemann, Kieran Paskewitz, Sean Norton, John McDonald, Michael Liberopoulos. In the second game GC jumped out to a 4 to 0 lead and continued their dominance with a 7 to 3 win. The Hitmen are now 6 and 0 in the league and will play the Long Island Jesters 4th Grade team this weekend. Just want to say how proud the coaches are of them each week as they live up to their high expectations.
