EPOA Annual Joint Meeting

The Eastern Property Owners' Association (EPOA) will hold its Annual Meeting on June 1 at 7:30PM at Garden City Library to elect Officers and Directors for the 2009-2010 term, to select four members of the Seven Member EPOA Nominating Committee and to vote on an amendment to the Association's bylaws. The amendment will create an additional officer position to handle certain responsibilities of the office of the Secretary. Further details about the amendment will appear in the EPOA's June Newsletter. The EPOA will also sponsor the Resident Electors' Meeting to elect ten members of the Garden City East Nominating Committee that proposes candidates for Village-wide offices, Village Board of Trustees and School Board Trustees. Residents are encouraged to attend on June 1 to also hear updates on the many important issues facing the village. Your participation is important.

The Seven Member Nominating Committee of the EPOA has nominated the following persons as candidates for election to the positions of Officers and Directors of the Association for the 2009-2010 term. The members of the nominating committee this year were Fred Magovern, as chairperson, Mayor Peter Bee, Jim Carney, May Conti, Gen D'Agostino, Sue Davis and Robert Stark, Jr.
