The next general meeting of the Western Property Owners Association (WPOA) will be held on Wednesday, April 22, at 8 p.m. at Homestead School. The agenda will include the election of officers and directors. The WPOA welcomes guest speakers Superintendent of Schools Dr. Robert Feirsen and Assistant Superintendent for Business and Finance Albert Chase, who will discuss the upcoming school budget and other school issues. All residents of the Western Section are welcome.

The Western Section of Garden City is bordered on the north by the main line of the LIRR, on the east by the west side of Tanners Pond and Edgemere Roads, on the south by Cambridge Avenue and on the west by Jefferson Street.
