The Power (Girls U12) is off to a great spring season. Before each game the girls start off with the cheer, "Who Wants the Ball? Power Wants the Ball!" And for the past three weeks the girls have shown their determination on the field. On Sat., April 4, with Angela Coen and Danielle Ventre guarding the goal, OB Endurance scored only once. Sarah Biscardi, the "amazing #11," along with Maddy Condulis and Nicollete Giammona put up a formidable defense. The Power in the middle includes Allison Schmidt, Claire Murphy, Morgayne "I'll go anywhere on the field to get the ball" Rix, Ariana Kerantzas, Alex Manning and Emma Gong. Fast and furious in the front are Jaime "I'll feed you a perfect pass" Silk, Gabby Marcoux, Katie O'Sullivan, Fiona MacLeod and Sam Auricchio. The team is anxiously awaiting the recovery of Kaitlyn DeGearo and Bridget Dean! The game ended in a tie, giving the Power 1 tie and 1 win for the first two league games of the season.
