HOLA's Winter 2009 Spanish Classes ended this Monday, April 6th with the children singing Spanish songs and playing games. Buenisimo!
Registration for the Spring 2009 session has begun. The Spanish Class program is available to children in grades K-5 and will be offered on Mondays at Stratford School. The 8 week session will begin April 20th and end June 15th. There will be two classes given on Mondays. Las Iguanas Class: 4:00-5:00pm (K-1st grades) and Los Toros Class: 5:00-6:00pm (2nd-5th grades).
HOLA of Garden City is a non-profit organization working to offer Spanish Classes as a service to our community. It is our belief that early exposure to a second language, such as Spanish, enhances a child's overall mental development. Our certified teachers are natives of Chile and Venezuela, and are also Garden City residents.
