A future babysitter is pictured learning how to hold a baby at the first session of the popular two-part Young Adult Babysitting Workshop, which was held on Monday, March 30th at the Garden City Library. Two neonatal nurses from Winthrop University Hospital discussed the care and health of infants and young children.

Young adults attending at the first part of the babysitting workshop practiced burping their dolls as part of learning how to properly care for infants and young children. The second session, the safety session, was held on Tuesday, April 7th. Those who attended both parts of the workshop were awarded a certificate of completion.
