Hempstead Town Councilman Edward Ambrosino congratulates students at Hemlock School in Garden City for participating in the Valentines for Veterans program, which the Town instituted in 2001. Through this program students create valentines to send to veterans in local VA hospitals. Many of these men and women don't have families and it means so much to them to know that the young children appreciate them for the sacrifices they have made for our nation.
