The Garden City PTA would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all those within our community who planned, attended and otherwise participated in our recent fundraising PTA dinner event, "Spring Scentsations." The sold-out event was a huge success, due in complete part to this community's support from parents, teachers, local businesses and this year - even students!

Specifically, the PTA would like to offer a very special thank you to some outstanding students and faculty who participated - for the first time - in this year's PTA event. Thank you to Mr. Mc Crann and the High School jazz ensemble for their performance during the first hour of the evening. The musical selections were enjoyed by all as attendees entered the event, sized-up prize selections with their friends and purchased raffle tickets.

The PTA would also like to acknowledge the actors and faculty from the High School theatre program under the direction of Jeannie Kennedy, Stephen Mayo and Katie Parathyras. The actors performed scenes and music from various Broadway musicals, including their recent production of 'Guys & Dolls' during the sit-dinner portion of the evening.

The feedback from attendees on these student performances has been unanimously positive and simply fantastic. We look forward to continuing this new tradition of student participation in this annual PTA event.
