Stewardship Ministry Fair At St. Joseph's Church

On the weekend of March 14 and 15, St. Joseph's Church held its Stewardship Ministry Fair. In this season of Lent, the event gave the parish members the chance to learn about the various programs available to meet the needs of the community. The spirit of the parish came alive as there was a sampling of opportunities for adults and also for children and young members of our parish. St. Joseph's parish has ministries that offer the opportunity to share your time and talent through prayer and worship, education and formation, human service and witness, community and hospitality.
Children and young adults may participate in the ministries of altar servers, choir, youth ministry, and scouting as well as participation in the parish school, religious education and vacation bible school programs.
Other programs include Adult Faith Formation, The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA), the process by which adults are formally welcomed into the Catholic Church, through the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and the Holy Eucharist, and the Ministry of Lector and Serving as a Eucharistic Minister at Church, the hospital, or to the homebound.
