Billy Elliot is the show that has captured Broadway's heart and received the best reviews for any musical in years. Called "EXTRAORDINARILY UPLIFTING" by Time Out New York and "INTOXICATING" by The New York Times, BILLY ELLIOT is a joyous, exciting and feel-good celebration of one boy following his heart and making his dreams come true. There are a limited number of seats available. You must register as soon as possible by sending your check for $150 (Payable to Garden City Schools) to Continuing Education, 56 Cathedral Ave., Garden City, NY 11530.

On October 14th GC Adult Education will going to the Broadway show West Side Story. With a score by Leonard Bernstein and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim it is hard to beat this great revival of the mid-century story of Romeo and Juliet. "The further we get in time from when "West Side Story" was written, the more the musical's mythic dimension comes into focus. This beloved 1957 classic earns its timeless status not through the authenticity of its snapshot of gang-ridden New York but rather through its re-envisioning of "Romeo and Juliet" as a ravishing fusion of drama, dance and song." - The Los Angeles Times. Register as soon as possible by sending your check for $150 (Payable to Garden City Schools) to Continuing Education, 56 Cathedral Ave., Garden City, NY 11530.
