Harley University Center. Elisabeth received the award for her colored pencil drawing of point shoes which belonged to her mother, a former ballet dancer.

"Elisabeth is an extremely dedicated student," commented art teacher Shawn Uttendorfer. "The amount of time it takes to do one of these drawings is hours and hours. Elisabeth has a fantastic eye for color and light - she is super-talented."

"This is just one work from my Advanced Placement concentration," stated Elisabeth. "My mom was a ballet dancer and really liked the piece. She wants to hang it up so someday her grandchildren can enjoy it."
