Kevin Ocker, Chairman of the Board of Commissioners for Cultural and Recreational Affairs, and Nicholas Symanski, Branch Manager of Flushing Savings Bank, greet the Easter Bunny as they discuss details of the upcoming Recreation Department Easter Egg Hunt On April 11th. Flushing Savings Bank is generously sponsoring this wonderful event. The Garden City Recreation Department is once again running its annual East Egg Hunt for the residents of the Inc. Village of Garden City. Our department is please to announce that our hunt has been generously sponsored by Flushing Savings Bank.

Our Recreation Department would like to thank Flushing Savings Bank for the community Spirit they have shown.

On Saturday, April 11 at Community Park, three hunts will be held beginning at 10 a.m. will three age divisions:

PreK and Kindergarten

Grades 1 and 2

Grades 3 through 5

Special eggs contributed by Flushing Savings Bank and the Recreation Department will be hidden for all divisions. Each hunt will also feature a prize "#1 Lucky Egg" which can be redeemed for a special Easter basket.
