Here are some of the latest highlights: TULLY 7TH BOYS were led down the stretch by Brian Shulman, Kyle Driscoll and Ryan Giacini in a big win over Jericho... GRANVILLE 3RD BOYS improved their record to 16-2 (good for first place and a first place playoff seed) by beating the 4th grade Fast Break Joseph Team 31-20 on Sun March 8th. The team was led by Matthew Granville's tenacious defense, Andrew DeSantis' ferocious rebounding and Aidan Byrnes' precocious shooting. The 3rd graders are now getting ready for the Island Garden playoffs... GRANVILLE 6TH BOYS have qualified for the playoffs in their tough Island Garden division. The team is led Pat Gibbons' shooting touch, Jack Tigh's slashing moves to the basket and Tom Wright's aggressive rebounding... HAMMERSLEY FLYERS continue to show improved play thanks to the defense of Mike Emmert, Kevin Sprotte and Nick Sarkis... RAPHAEL 6TH GIRLS have been moving up in the standings led by the inside play of Morgayne Rix and Shannon Raphael and the shooting of Becky Reifler and Kathleen Burke... HAYDEN 6TH GIRLS split their two games this past week. Leading the way were Antonia Palmeri, Ali Hoge and Lindsey DeMars... With 13 wins, CAPETOLA 5TH BOYS have the second most victories in their division. The team has gotten outstanding guard play from Mike McGuire and Nolan Prendergast...
