To access the site from home, go to www.gardencitypl.org, enter your library card number when prompted, and then follow the easy directions.

Special Needs Collection

The Children's Department has an entire section devoted to a wide spectrum of special needs, from Autism to Deafness to Cancer. Whether you are looking for information about a disorder, need a picture book that explains a particular issue to children, or are seeking helpful strategies, we have resources for you. The collection of fiction and non-fiction books, DVDs and VHS, and games is continually being updated and developed. Come check it out!

Please check the library website www.gardencitypl.org for upcoming events and registration dates. Funding for these programs has been provided by the Friends of the Garden City Public Library. Priority for registration and participation is given to children who are Garden City Public Library cardholders.
