The ladies of the Community Club of Garden City and Hempstead had so much fun with their April Silent Auction last year that they decided to have it again. Wednesday, April 1 st from 12:45 to 1:30 the Properties Department of the club will be ready with all sorts of goodies for your shopping pleasure. Any member is invited to donate an item that is either new or gently used to the Auction. They can be brought into the Club Office at the G.C. Casino on either Monday, March 30 th or Tuesday, March 31 st between 10 a.m. and Noon. If your donated item is not sold you may take it home with you that day or they will be happy to donate it to a charity.

The Auction will take place before the General Meeting and you may find just the item you have been looking for or that special gift for a friend. Members may bring guests to enjoy both the Auction and the program that follows - "Laugh Your Way to Health" by Dr. Caroline Olko, Asst. Prof. Nassau Community College. The Community Club offers a wide variety of quality programs, trips and creative classes from October through May.
