Winthrop-University Hospital is pleased to announce that it will hold support groups for both patients dealing with chronic kidney disease and their caregivers. The group meetings will provide a supportive environment for all participants to discuss the impact of this chronic illness and improve the quality of life for those affected by this disease.

The patient support group will meet on eight consecutive Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8:30 PM: March 18, and 25; April 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29. The caregiver's group will meet on eight consecutive Thursdays from 10:30 AM to 12 noon: March 12, 19 and 26; April 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30. Both groups will meet at the Winthrop Dialysis Center, 200 Old Country Road in Mineola.
