Garden City 6th Grade Girls won the Sportime Winter Indoor Lacrosse league this past Saturday with a 16-11 victory over a determined Wantagh team. Under the leadership of coaches Gallagher, Adams, Bingham and Gregory, the girls consistently controlled the game with their up-tempo style of play. A great defensive effort was shown throughout the season, as well as selfless play.

Coach Gallagher, Jamie Silk, Arianna Kerantzas, Emma Gallagher, Cara Adams, Jillian Gregory, Katie Roscoe, Sara Biscardi, Kathleen Burke, Coach Adams and Sarah Griffin are in the top row of the picture. Missing from the picture are Colette Seel, Ryann Coughlin and Coaches Bingham and Gregory.

Congratulations on a job well done! The coaches are sad not to be able to keep many of these talented players on their spring lacrosse team. The coaches hope to have the privilege of coaching these young ladies in the future.
