Health And Fitness
Our friend Dr. Michael DeFeo reminded us of Jiminy Cricket's advice that proper diet and exercise will lower your weight and blood sugar. So eat plenty of fruits and vegetables and get into a gentle exercise program and watch the pounds melt away and blood sugar count go down. Add a glass of red wine, it goes fine. The exercise does not have to be strenuous. Gentle exercise on a regular basis will improve your energy level. To take better care of mind and body, visit the Recreation Department FREE exercise program at the St. Paul's complex every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, two sessions each day at 9:15 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Stop by and let Felicia help you get back in shape. No appointments, no commitment, just show up when you have the time and inclination. Try it, you'll love it.
