Trip to Adelphi's
Olmstead Theatre
On Friday, March 13th, the Recreation Department will take a senior trip to view Dance Adelphi Spring 2009, under the direction of Frank Augustyn. The Recreation Bus will leave St. Paul's Senior Center at 10 a.m. to the matinee performance at 11 a.m. The show features choreographers and works from around the world with the Dance Department dancers performing the works. Tickets are $8.50 and reservations are necessary. To make a reservation, please visit the Recreation Department's Administrative Offices at 108 Rockaway Ave.
Lunch at the milleridge inn
We will visit the Milleridge Inn on Wednesday, March 18th to celebrate a late St. Patrick's Day with a luncheon of corned beef and cabbage. If that does not suit you, then there will be several other lunch choices to be made. The Recreation Bus will leave St. Paul's Senior Center at 11 a.m. and travel to the Milleridge. After lunch, you will have time to walk around the shops that are part of the complex. The cost of lunch will be $35. payable in cash only. Senior walking program
Our Senior walking group has become so popular that we are adding a day! Our group will now meet at Cluett Hall at 2:15 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday and walk for at least 20 minutes. Felicia will moderate this program, which will take place rain or shine! Dress for the elements but if it rains or is too cold, we will walk indoors. No registration is needed- come and join us!

On Tuesday, April 28th, the Recreation Department will sponsor an "NYPD" Tour of NYC through Prime Time Travel.
With a retired NYPD police officer as our tour guide, we will explore New York City on a motorcoach as he shares his knowledge and experience as one of New York's finest. After our tour, we will go to Little Italy to enjoy lunch at SPQR.
The cost of this trip will be $79. Preregistration is necessary for this trip and a $30 deposit made payable to "Prime Time Travel" is needed to secure a reservation. To register, please visit the Recreation Offices at 108 Rockaway Avenue.
the intrepid is back in
new york city
The Intrepid has returned to New York. On Wednesday, May 13th, come with the Recreation Department as we tour this amazing vessel. Discover areas never seen before. Visit the Museum, the top secret Growler submarine, and the SST Concorde.
We will travel by coach bus with Prime Time Travel. We will tour the Intrepid. After our visit, we will be enjoying lunch at the Heartland Chophouse. The cost of this trip will be $95. Preregistration is necessary for this trip and a $30 deposit made payable to "Prime Time Travel" is needed to secure and reservation.

One of the best comradeship and fun with fellow seniors is at St. Paul's Senior Center! We are located in the cottages at St. Paul's Recreation Complex and are open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for any person aged 60 or above who is a resident of the Inc. Village of Garden City.
