Garden City High School alumnus Victor J. Zolfo (right) was honored with an Oscar for Art Direction at the Academy Awards ceremony on February 22nd. Mr. Zolfo, a member of the Class of 1981, was the set decorator for "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" and shared the award for the film with Donald Graham Burt (left). He has worked in set design in dozens of major motion pictures in the last two decades and his work will also be seen in the upcoming "Terminator Salvation" which is due to be released later this year.
