A recent performance by the MYO Youth Chorale. The three choruses which are part of the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra of New York will perform in concert on Sunday, March 1, at 3 PM at the Cathedral of the Incarnation in Garden City.

The MYO Treble Choir, under the direction of Craig Knapp; The MYO Concert Choir, under the direction of Erica Warner; and the MYO Youth Chorale, under the direction of Ed Norris, III will each perform a varied program of choral music.

Tickets will be available at the door for $20 ($10 for senior citizens and students). The Cathedral is located at 50 Cathedral Ave. in Garden City.

The Metropolitan Youth Orchestra of New York organization is in its fifteenth season involving almost five hundred young people under the age of 18 in one of its five orchestras and three choirs. The orchestras will be performing on March 22 at the new Adelphi Performing Arts Center, and all MYO ensembles will perform their final concert of the season at Carnegie Hall on June 7. Auditions for new members will be held on May 8 & 9 at Herricks High School.
