Come see, and have afternoon Tea with us The market is down! World news dampens the spirit. The Community Club of Garden City and Hempstead hopes to offer you something different. Laughter, book reviews, far away travel, and making a difference are what our March programs offer. So this is an invitation to join us at the Garden City Casino for an afternoon of enjoyment.

On March 4 th General Program will be presenting "A Tribute to Danny Kaye." Mr. Robert Spiotto, Artistic Director of the Community Arts Program at Hofstra University and Executive Producer of Hofstra USA Productions will entertain and enlighten us about this versatile entertainer.

Some of the ladies of the Club will be sharing their current readings with us on March 10 th. They could make your next library visit better with their suggestions and insights of the book world.

March 18 th is a special surprise program. Alfred E. Urban, Jr. will do "The Ring of Fire." It is a scenic tour of the Aleutian Islands, Kamchatha Penninsula, and Petropavlosk, Siberia, enhanced by the culture and history of the regions., So - all aboard for the wonder of exploration without leaving Garden City.

The ongoing Literature Series will be held on March 20 th at the Garden City Library at 1 p.m. Professor Brian Quinn will lead the discussion of Three Cups of Tea: One Man's Mission to Promote Peace.. One School at a Time, by Greg Montenson and David Oliver Relin.

Join us for one or more of these programs. Tea, cookies, and conversation top off the afternoon. All programs begin at 1:30 p.m. at the Casino, unless otherwise noted.
