Garden City Young Professionals Created

Founding Members Chris Acheson, Dan Smith, Kelly Manzer and Ryan Donnelly)
For those interested in a social & business networking experience for younger professionals- several GCHS graduates have recently created The Garden City Young Professionals (GCYP). The GCYP is a free membership consisting of business minded people under the age of 40 who are interested in social meet & greets, charitable fundraisers and business to business networking seminars.

Their first event will take place at Novita Wine Bar on March 26th from 6pm onwards. The focus on the event will be business referrals and the housing/mortgage markets with a guest speaker from Wells  Fargo. All are welcome to  attend by emailing  gardencityyp@gmail.com; please include your occupation/industry and years in the business. The goal is to have a diverse cross section of business, industry & education, with a preference of no more than 5 members of one profession.

Future plans of the GCYP include a charity 'pub crawl' through Garden City benefiting the Mollie Biggane Melanoma Foundation and the Bobby Reeves Scholarship Fund. Monthly meetings will be held at local establishments with free hors d'oeuvres and there will always be a guest speaker from a different field. Members do not have to reside in Garden City; our focus is on professionals who work in the Central Nassau vicinity.

Please feel free to email us at gardencityyp@gmail.com for membership information or join our group on www.Facebook.com.
