St. Joseph School Celebrates Catholic Schools Week
Dr. Kilbride, Principal, talks to the children after the prayer service
After a celebratory Mass and breakfast, St. Joseph School spent the week celebrating Catholic Schools. The week started with a prayer service and went into a week of events. The Spelling Bee and Math Bee were attending by participating grades. The older children buddied up with the younger ones on Buddy Up Day. Parents were treated to a guest speaker at Parent Information Night. The ever-popular game show was a hit as was a special trip to the theater to see Inkhart, whose author was a visitor in the school last year. The younger children were treated to a feature film in the transformed "SJS Teater", formerly known as the cafeteria...complete with tickets and a snack bar! The 7th and 8th graders battled it out in green vs. gold Sportsnight as the week wound down. For more information on upcoming registration, please visit www.advantageforlife.org
