Molly Josephs The only time you may be able to "catch" Garden City High School track stars Emily Menges (pictured, wearing #2) and Molly Josephs (pictured, wearing #9) is on ESPN2's coverage of the Millrose Games scheduled for this Friday, January 30th at Madison Square Garden. Coverage runs from 7-8:30 p.m. The Millrose Games is an invitational track and field meet held for the nation's top high school athletes. Competitors have to be ranked in the top ten in the nation in order to be invited to compete. Emily, an eleventh grader at Garden City High School, is currently ranked 5th in the nation for the one-mile run, and Molly, a ninth grader, is the reigning national champion for one-mile race-walking. They are the first girls from Garden City to be invited to the Millrose Games.

Girls track and field coach Erica Fregosi was thrilled for Emily and Molly and grateful for the ongoing support of the Garden City parents. "Thank you so much for all of your support for our track and field team this season - we would not be able to get these girls into this meet without your dedication to our success and your allowance of the team to travel to the best tracks and track and field meets in the northeast!"
