Lou DeMars On Sunday, February 1st, at 9:15 a.m., the Garden City Community Church Forum Series will present Lou DeMars and Ross Mongiardo, speaking on How to Survive in a Down Economy.

Both speakers operate businesses in Garden City and are active in the community. Lou DeMars is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in both New York and New Jersey. He has an MBA from Hofstra University School of Business, and has served as adjunct faculty at both Hofstra and the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University. Ross Mongiardo is a Certified Financial Planner, Chartered Financial; Consultant, and Chartered Life Underwriter. He has an MBA from Temple University.

The Garden City Community church is part of the United Church of Christ and is an Open and Affirming Congregation. Worship services are on Sundays at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. with church school for children and a crib room for infants and toddlers during the later service.
