Addresses Bar Association's Program
Erica B. Garay, a partner in the law firm of Meyer, Suozzi, English and Klein, concentrating in the areas of commercial litigation including; corporate and partnership dissolutions, arbitrations, trials, appeals, and general business representation participated as a panelist on "Business Dissolutions - A Discussion" at the Nassau County Bar Association's "CLE SUPER SUNDAY" which took place on January 11th.
"In today's economic times, it is likely that more internal disputes among business owners will develop", said Garay. "This program will focus on shareholder rights and strategies available under the statute governing shareholder disputes, buy-outs and LLC dissolutions."
Ms. Garay represents businesses of all sizes and their management. She has served on steering committees charged with planning the course of major pieces of litigation. She has lectured and authored articles on federal practice, employment law, restrictive covenants and trade secrets, and advises businesses on these and other corporate and commercial matters.
Ms. Garay, a litigator with more than 30 years of experience, represents businesses and their owners in commercial litigation and corporate governance matters. She has handled more than 30 partnership and corporate and LLC dissolutions and disputes, including arbitrations, mediations, and appeals. Her wide-range of experience gives her a unique perspective in advising clients in their disputes.
