Adult Ed Goes To Broadway

Garden City School District's Adult Education program is currently registering people for their upcoming trip to Billy Elliot on Wednesday, June 17, 2009. Billy Elliot is a matinee and the deluxe coach bus will leave Garden City with plenty of time for everyone to have lunch in Manhattan. Billy Elliot is the show that has captured Broadway's heart and received the best reviews for any musical in years. Called "EXTRAORDINARILY UPLIFTING" by Time Out New York and "INTOXICATING" by The New York Times, BILLY ELLIOT is a joyous, exciting and feel-good celebration of one boy following his heart and making his dreams come true. You must register as soon as possible by sending your check for $150 (Payable to Garden City Schools) to Continuing Education, 56 Cathedral Ave., Garden City, NY 11530.

On September 9th GC Adult Education will be going to the Broadway show Jersey Boys. Jersey Boys was the 2006 Tony Award Winner for Best Musical and as Clive Barnes said, "It's just too good to be true!" Broadway's Jersey Boys takes your behind the music of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons as it follows the rags-to-riches story of four kids growing up in Newark and working their way to the heights of stardom. You must register as soon as possible by sending your check for $150 (Payable to Garden City Schools) to Continuing Education, 56 Cathedral Ave., Garden City, NY 11530.
