The Heavenly Host prepare to descend upon the manger.

The Heavenly Host prepare to descend upon the manger. On Christmas Eve, December 24, at the 5 p.m. Family Mass, the children of the Cathedral of the Incarnation's Church School presented a version of the birth of Jesus. The story was about the newest angel, Dumas, who was receiving instruction about angelhood and getting her facts straight about the story of Jesus' birth. A quartet from the Girls Choir provided the musical part of the program. They were directed by Mr. Alistair Nelson, Associate Organist and Choirmaster of the Cathedral. Many familiar Christmas carols were sung to coincide with the presentation. Mr. Charles Janoff and Deacon Connie Lorenz organized and rehearsed the cast for the Christmas Pageant. As always, the acting out of the birth of Jesus made the Gospel come alive to the children participating and those in the congregation. And as always, the children participating were precious, right from the Virgin Mary and Joseph down to the littlest sheep!
