At this year's 2008 Junior Achievement of New York Gala, Bob Catell, Chairman of National Grid, who now resides in Garden City, was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Mr. Catell's invaluable service to JANY began in the late eighties when he began his tenure as Board Member. His impact continues today; he recently led National Grid in launching their first ever JANY Bowl-A-Thon. Combined with past KeySpan JANY Bowl-A-Thons, Mr. Catell has helped raise nearly $1.5 million to date.
