Brian Saloy and Maria Calabrese Mrs. Daniel V. Calabrese of Garden City is pleased to announce the engagement of her daughter, Maria Ann to Brian Stephen Saloy. Brian is the son of Stephen Saloy of Southampton, formerly of Garden City.

Maria Ann is a 1989 graduate of St. Mary's Girls High School, Manhasset. She received her Bachelors degree in Fine Arts from Marist College in 1992. She is a Senior Merchant for Finlay Fine Jewelry in Manhattan.

Brian is a graduate of Chaminade High School, class of 1992. He received his Bachelors degree from Providence College in 1996, and his Masters in Teaching from Fordham University in 1998. Brian is a Vice President of William Saloy Inc., Mineola, New York.

The couple plan to be married at St.Joseph's Church, Garden City, in October 2009.
