Agent Donates To The Andy Foundation

Allstate agent Jerry Barry, whose office is located at 226 7th Street in Garden City, was recently named an Agent Hero by Allstate Insurance Company's New York Region for awarding a $1000 grant to a local youth program. Barry donated a $1000 grant to The Andy Foundation, a Garden City-based organization created for the purpose of helping children.

The donation will be used to help fund the building of therapy classrooms at the Pal-O-Mine Equestrian Facility in Islandia, NY, whose primary purpose is to help teach disabled children how to ride horses. This therapy gives them a sense of independence, which all children need and deserve.

"As an Allstate agent, I believe it is my responsibility to demonstrate the Good Hands Promise in the Garden City community every single day," says Barry. "It is an honor to be able to donate this grant to The Andy Foundation and hopefully touch the lives of the youth who are involved."
