Both under one roof for one affordable price! And it all happens Saturday & Sunday, November 1 & 2 at the Garden City Field House (formerly St. Paul's School), 295 Stewart Avenue, Garden City. We've taken these two prestigious shows and combined them so you can cover the whole gamut of collecting in one place at one time. So, if you're Jonesing for a cool 1950's science fiction movie poster and a comfy Queen Anne chair to sit on while looking at it - we've got you covered! You say you want to curl up in front of the fire on a scrunchy Persian rug with a mint copy of Stephen King's "Carry" - Yo, check it out! From the frivolous to the sublime, a wealth of rare out-of-print books, poster, prints, and ephemera is waiting for you along with period furniture, vintage textiles, china, pottery, and glassware! The cognizenti will have nothing on you, Baby! Established, long-running, proven shows, these are acknowledged to be among the finest of their kind in New York and the only shows of their kind on Long Island! Come to the show and find out. Prominent exhibitors from across the United States will gather to present an outstanding array of the finest antiques, rare and unusual old books, maps, prints, ephemera, and much more! Plus we have book signings and binding & restoration services along with appraisals by well-known TV personality and appraiser John Bruno and book authority Tom Congalton of "Between The Covers" on Sunday from 1-4pm. Adult Admission is $6, Young Collector's 12-2 are $3, under 12 free with adult admission, and plenty of free parking. Hours are Saturday: 11am-6pm/Sunday: 11am-4pm. The Field House is at 295 Stewart Avenue in Garden City, NY, about 1 hour from Manhattan by car, and 40 minutes by LIRR - the Garden City Station is only three blocks from the Field House.
