Thursday Luncheon Group Resumes

The Thursday Luncheon Group sponsored by the Garden City Community Church will hold its first fall "Welcoming Luncheon" on Thursday, October 9 at noon. This is an outreach program for our community senior citizens. We meet the second and fourth Thursdays at noon in the church Parlor.

Lunch will be provided on October 9, but at subsequent meetings we ask that you bring a sandwich; dessert and coffee will be served by the hostesses. The program scheduled for October 23 is "Hurricane Preparedness" presented by the Red Cross. Please RSVP to the church office two days in advance so we can prepare. Also, if you need transportation, please call the office at 746-1700.

Garden City Community Church is part of the United Church of Christ. Worship services are Sundays at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., with church school for children and a crib room for infants and toddlers at the later service.
