Andy Foundation Collects School Supplies

Steve Connolly, manager Garden City Park Staples, Staples associate Howie Eidelman, Molly Galvin and James Moore.
Recently, the Andy Foundation, located in Garden City, helped one hundred fifty kids attending Elementary, Middle and High School get ready for school this September by donating backpacks, filled with school supplies to the INN of Hempstead. All of the fundraising from the Andy Foundation goes towards children organization, supporting our motto, "By Kids...For Kids".

"It meant a lot to us and the dozen youth volunteers involved to help provide much needed school supplies for other kids on Long Island" said James Moore, who along with Molly Galvin, both juniors at Garden City High School organized the Back to School Backpack project. The Andy Foundation would like to acknowledge a special word of thanks to Steve Connelly, Manager of the Garden City Park Staples and his staff for all their help and generosity throughout the shopping process.

Money to make projects like this possible is raised by various charity events. Events such as the Annual Andy Foundation Yard Sale, Breakfast with Santa, Bingo Night, and sales of the Andy Foundation Cookbook support our endeavors. For more information visit www.theandyfund.com

Supplies will be distributed through the INN of Hempstead
