U-12 GC Warriors Place Second In Covanta Tournament

GC Warriors proudly display their 2nd Place tournament plaques.

The GC Warriors kicked off their fall season with a second place finish in this past weekend's East Meadow Covanta Tournament. The Warriors faced tough competition in teams from Lindenhurst, New Hyde Park, Smithtown, Rockville Centre and East Meadow. On target passing and skillful footwork by the boys led to four solid wins, with their only loss to a strong Lindenhurst team. An excellent team effort was turned in by Kyle Brattan, Timmy Foxen, Alex Franco, Chris Koester, James Walsh, Owen Fisher, Matt Flynn, Jonathan Granville, Matt Greiner, Gerard Smith, Bobby Clarke, Brogan Mahon, Jonathan Morris, Matt Greiner, Conor Muldoon and Connor Tariche.
