Miss McCavera's second-graders at Stratford School recently presented their final class play of the school year, "The Teddy Bear Hero." Tagalong Teddy is the main character of this play. The other bears don't want to be around him because he is red, white and blue, instead of brown. He is proud of the colors because they are the colors of the American flag. Some picnic friends share some facts about the history of the American flag. The teddy bears learn some interesting facts and welcome Tagalong and the boys and girls to their 4 th of July picnic. The play ended with the students singing, "You're A Grand Old Flag."
