Honored For Outstanding Seasons Left to right - Dan Sarfin, Matt Montgomery, Michael Mancusi, and Coach Larry Steimer At the annual Nassau County Basketball Coaches Association dinner, two Garden City Trojans were recognized for their outstanding seasons on the court. Senior Michael Mancusi and sophomore Matthew Montgomery were named to the Conference ABC - III All Conference Team. Michael Mancusi led the Trojans in scoring this season with twelve points per game. He set the Garden City boy's basketball single season three point record by knocking down an incredible forty-four triples. Mike scored a career high twenty-two point against Clarke High School this year. He was named as the Most Valuable Player at the Clarke Tip Off Tournament. Matthew Montgomery led the Trojans in assists and steals as the teams point guard. Matt scored a career high twenty point against Wantagh High School. Both players had truly outstanding seasons and the team is grateful for all of their efforts.
