EPOA Announces Its Annual Joint Meeting

The Eastern Property Owners' Association will hold its Annual Meeting on June 2nd at 7:30 p.m. at the Garden City Library to elect Officers and Directors for the 2008-2009 term and to select four members of the Seven Member EPOA Nominating Committee, and the Resident Electors' Meeting to elect ten members of the Garden City East Nominating Committee that proposes candidates for Village-wide offices, Village Board of Trustees and School Board Trustees. Residents are encouraged to attend and also hear updates on St. Paul's AvalonBay proposal, LIRR Third Track, the HUB study and other important issues facing the Village.

The Seven Member Nominating Committee of the Eastern Property Owners' Association has nominated the following persons as candidates for election to the positions of Officers and Directors of the Association for the 2008-2009 term. The members of the nominating committee this year were Roger Eltringham, as chairperson, Maureen Clancy, Dorothy Episcopia, Nancy Fredericks, Gerhardt Muller, Donna O'Brien and M. John Pittoni.
