Chamber Program On Proposed Lighthouse Project

Traditionally, the Garden City Chamber of Commerce offers luncheon programs as venues for project representatives to provide information about ventures that may impact the Village of Garden City and surrounding areas.

On Wednesday, May 14, Noon, at the Garden City Hotel, the Chamber will host Scott Rechler, CEO & Chairman of RexCorp Realty LLC and a principal of the Lighthouse Development Group, to present an overview of the proposed "Lighthouse at Long Island" development project. Included, as proposed, is to be the transformation of the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum site and the surrounding area into "Long Island's signature destination."

The luncheon program is open to both business and residential members of the Village. Advance reservations are required at $60 for Chamber members; $65 non-council members.
