The Community Club of Garden City and Hempstead is pleased to announce that Felicia Lovaglio, former member of the Metropolitan Opera's Corps De Ballet, will present a lecture demonstration on dance at the club's May 7th general program to be held at 1:30 p.m. at the Garden City Casino. All members and their guests are cordially invited to attend.

Felicia is a 1983 graduate of Garden City High School and the Long Island High School of the Arts where she also taught ballet. She earned a BFA from Adelphi University in 1987 and is presently an adjunct faculty member there in both the dance department and the department of performing arts. The workshop part of the presentation will feature some of Felicia's dance students from Adelphi: Jennifer Cohen, Irina Ostrozhnyuk and Anna Smith who will demonstrate dance techniques in ballet, modern dance and jazz.

Felicia resides in Garden City with her four children, Patrick and Triplets Christopher, Lucy and Michael Donahue.

As an added attraction, the Peggy Otto Studio exhibit featuring the beautiful works of art created by our talented members enrolled in the club's studio department will be on display for all to enjoy during the tea hour after Felicia's lecture/dance performance. Please be sure to join us for both.
