Parent Chat Room

The Garden City Community Council on Substance Abuse and Violence Prevention is pleased to continue to sponsor the "Parent Chat Room", an informal gathering offering parents of children of any age, the opportunity to come together and talk with each other about how issues of alcohol, tobacco and drugs affect their children, and how they can work together to monitor and combat the problems they identify.

Please join us on Tuesday, April 8th from 7:30-8:30 pm, at the Garden City Library for our next "Chat". Parents who have attended the "Parent Chat Room" have found it to be a wonderful forum, affording them the opportunity to learn from and support each other as they face the many challenges of raising drug and alcohol free children.

It takes a community to raise a child, and we do our best work when we work together!
