Knights To Honor Free-Throw Champs

"Msgr. John's Knights" will play host to their 2008 K of C Free-Throw Champs and their families at the traditional "Pizzas & Trophies" party to be held at 7 P.M. in the School Cafeteria prior to the regular council meeting on Wed., Apr. 9, Coordinator "Jay" Lynch reports.

Winners by age brackets from the opening Intra-Council competition include

BOYS, AGE: 10 Beau O_Connell, 11 Matthew Kelly, 12 Jack O_Brien, and 13 Anthony Greco.

GIRLS, AGE: 10 ,Joanne Grueneberg, 11 Taylor Carpentier, 12 Grace Parks, 13 Maggie Parks, and 14 Taryn Wesoly.

Knockout Champ was Michael Greene.

The Knights' representatives accounted for half of the winners at the 17th District competition! but did not have any winners at the County competition at Holy Trinity on March 9th.

"Jay" Lynch adds: "We are very proud of all of our contestants and winners. A good time was had by all!"
