Seniors Renew Vows On Valentine's Day
 | | Hempstead Town Supervisor Kate Murray (left) joyfully presided over the renewal of vows for Sarah and Felix Iannacone of Garden City. The couple, who were first married on August 28, 1948, reaffirmed their love at the historic courtroom in Old Town Hall on Valentine's Day. Supervisor Murray noted, "It was wonderful to join with our local seniors who demonstrated that they are 'young at heart' and their love is ageless by renewing their vows." Adding to the festive atmosphere of the courtroom where the weddings took place, flower baskets were provided by Mormile Florists in Rockville Centre. In addition, Entenmann's Bakery in East Meadow donated a beautiful cake for the happy newlyweds, Sapienza Bake Shop furnished cookies and Pathmark and Wild By Nature generously contributed champagne (non-alcoholic) and other delicacies to nuptial celebrations for couples who "tied the knot." Each couple also received a special gift from Fortunoff's and a long-stemmed rose from 1-800-FLOWERS. "I wish to congratulate each of our Valentine's Day newlyweds and not-so- newlyweds and wish them the best of luck in the future," concluded Murray.
