Lakers Edge Celtics For Championship

In the GCAA 3rd Grade Boys championship game between the top seeded Lakers and the second ranked Celtics, the Lakers beat the Celtics 14-12 in a very tight, defensive struggle. The top seeded Lakers, coached by Chris Thompson and Larry Keating, scored the deciding points with seconds left and used a stifling man to man defense to shut down the second ranked Celtics, who were coached by Jack Cook.

The 3rd grade boys' league featured six teams and an astounding 76 players. Week in and week out each team played with close to a full roster of players and were ready to compete. All teams should be very proud of the talent level and commitment we experienced this year.
