Colonel Ralph Dengler, one of three recipients of "Operation Pele," recently sent photos and a letter thanking everyone who donated soccer balls to the Iraqi children near his base in Ramaldi, Iraq.
Special thanks were given to the Goalbuster team, coaches, and parents for collecting the soccer balls; Tom Ryan and Chris Thompson, for helping to organize the drive; and Louise at the Garden City Post Office for helping to mail the 180 soccor balls.
