New H.S. Principal Announced

The new principal of Garden City High School, Nanine Cuttitta, is shown here with Assistant Superintendent for Personnel Fino Celano, left, and School Board President Kenneth J. Monaghan. The appointment was announced on March 17 at the Garden City School Board meeting. Ms. Cuttitta comes to Garden City from Dear Park High School, where she has served as principal, assistant principal, Social Studies chairperson, and Social Studies teacher. She also taught Social Studies at Junior High School 50 in Williamsburg, NY. Ms. Cuttita holds a B.S. in social sciences from SUNY at Stony Brook, an M.S. in Social Studies, and a professional certificate in Educational Administration from C.W. Post College. Ms. Cuttitta will join the faculty on July 1.
