Annual Blood Drive At Cathedral

The Cathedral of the Incarnation will again be hosting a New York Blood center Blood Drive on Sunday, March 30 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. All are welcome to participate. You can schedule an appointment by calling Marian Haberman at 516-478-5018 or the Cathedral Office at 746-2955. You may also choose to walk in to the Donation Site in the Cathedral House at 50 Cathedral Avenue during the hours of the drive.

Did you know that Long Island hospitals alone need 800 pints of blood a day and that our area must import blood because it does not have enough local donors to keep our hospitals going? Your donation can save up to five lives. Questions regarding eligibility may be directed to 1-800-688-0900 or to your own physician. You must be between the ages of 16 and 75 and have a minimum weight of 110 lbs to donate. Bring your valid picture or signature ID and know your social security number. Bring reading glasses if you use them. A free cholesterol testing will be provided.
