Easter Car Parade This Sunday

 
The 53rd annual Easter Sunday Vintage Car Parade will step off this Sunday at 1 p.m. from Tenth Street on Franklin Avenue. The procession, led by a line of spectacular antique and classic cars, the Kiwanis Easter Bunnies and Kingsley Bear, will head south on Franklin Avenue, then west on Seventh Street where it will disperse at Hilton Avenue.

Spectators are invited to view the cars as they line up in parking field 9E between Ninth and Tenth Streets from 10 a.m. until 12:30. Adding to the fun will be the Town of Hempstead's Showmobile, musical MC, Bert Donley, the renowned Banjo Rascals and Kiwanis Easter Bunnies with lollypops (also on Seventh Street during the parade where the Banjo Rascals will also be strummin' out their toe-tappin' tunes in front of the HSBC Bank. Feldis and Hengstenberg's Florist have provided bows for the Easter Trees" decorated by the Village Parks Department.
