Garden City Recreation Roller Hockey Spring Programs Announced Learn & Play Program

Who:Ages 5 & 6

When:Sunday Afternoons

Session 1:12 to 1 pmSession 2:1:30 to 2:30 pm

Where:Roller Hockey Rinks @ Community Park

This eight week program will begin on Sunday, March 30, 2008. This program has been designed to introduce the exciting game of roller hockey. NO experience is required in hockey or roller skating as this is a Beginners Program. Program includes a jersey and our End of the Season Award Party.

The cost of the program will be $60.

Hockey League

Who: Mites DivisionAges 7 & 8,

Junior Division Ages 9 & 10, and

Senior DivisionAges 11 to 14

When: Fridays according to the following schedule:

Mites Division5:45 p.m.

Junior Division4:00 p.m.

Senior Division7:30 p.m.

Where:Roller Hockey Rinks @ Community Par

Season will begin on Friday March 28th, 2008 and runs through mid-June

Season includes six weeks of regular season play, one round of playoffs. The Championship Game, a jersey, and our End of the Season Awards Party.

The cost of the program will be $60.

Adult Roller Hockey

Who:30 & over

When:Sunday Evenings at 7 p.m.

Where:Roller Hockey Rinks @ Community Park

Session will begin on Sunday March 2nd, 2008 and run through mid-June. All games are strictly pick-up and just for fun. The cost of the Program is $50.

REGISTRATION WILL BEGIN WITH A SPECIAL SIGN UP AT ST. PAULS/CLUETT HALL ON SUNDAY FEBRUARY 24TH, 2008 FROM 12:00 P.M. TO 3:00 P.M. BEGINNING MONDAY, FEBRUARY 25TH REGISTRATION FOR ALL THREE PROGRAMS WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE RECREATION OFFICE.

(Please note that the Recreation Office is now located at 108 Rockaway Avenue at the Cottage at St. Pauls.) PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT SPACE IS LIMITED IN ALL THREE PROGRAMS THEREFORE PLEASE REGISTER EARLY WHEN SIGNING UP FOR ROLLER HOCKEY. PLEASE BE ADVISED YOU ARE MAKING A COMMITMENT AND REGULAR ATTENDANCE IS REQUIRED.
